BACKGROUND

The Company was first formed in 1988, as a Partnership with its business centering from small domestic/light industrial works, as they expanded the Company became limited.

During those earlier years, the Company primarily undertook smaller contracts gaining much experience in both the technical requirements and the Managerial disciplines necessary to successfully deliver a quality product/service both on time and to budget.

In more recent years the Company has successfully completed larger contracts within the Commercial and high quality Residential Sectors on both traditional and Design and Build contracts. This necessitates that the Company constantly develops the skills and technical abilities of its staff and its workforce to meet the needs of its clients and the ever changing environment of the Construction industry. The entire work force has revisited Guildford college to attain the City and Guilds 2391 for testing and certification.

The Company operates from offices just outside Guildford. It is in these premises that the planning stage of all projects take place under direct control of the Management Team.

On site every project becomes the supervisory responsibility of one of our Site Foremen, overseen by Contract Manager, who is responsible for overall control and day-to-day site management. This hands on approach, will ensure a flexible and co-operative manner to the way each project is handled.

The structure developed over the years, from our early days right through to our multi-thousand pound plus contracts of today, allow us to respond to our Clients’ needs in a practical and effective manner.

We try at all times to work with our Clients and their Consultants to develop a long term working relationship, always building a partnership concept rather than one of a “one-off” contract.

In 1990 we joined the NICEIC, National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors, which in turn enables us to be accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as a certification body operating in accordance with European Standard EN 45011 – General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems.
